At DIfE, more than 100 scientists from various disciplines are currently working in the fields of biochemistry, bioinformatics, nutrition science, epidemiology, medicine, and psychology. In order to gain new insights in the field of nutrition research, the international teams not only cooperate with major external partners such as the University of Potsdam and Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, but also work closely together internally across departments and projects. DIfE also participates in outstanding national collaborative projects, including the German Center for Diabetes Research, the German Center for Cardiovascular Diseases, and the GNC Health Study (NAKO).
