On selected topics or occasions, the DIfE organizes (or acts as host) scientific symposia to which scientists from its own ranks as well as from other research institutions are invited. This applies, for example, to symposia on filling scientific leadership positions, on scientific exchange within collaborative projects, on DIfE anniversaries, or on other important occasions.
