The German Institute of Human Nutrition Potsdam-Rehbruecke (DIfE) is a member of the Leibniz Association. The institute’s mission is to conduct experimental and clinical research in the field of nutrition and health, with the aim of understanding the molecular basis of nutrition-dependent diseases, and of developing new strategies for treatment and prevention (homepage).

We invite applications for the newly founded Department of Decision Neuroscience and Nutrition (DNN), formed as part of a joint appointment with the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin for

1 PostDoc (m/f/d)

The general aim of the department is to understand the complex mechanisms of human decision making. In this DFG-funded project, we investigate the learning mechanisms that underly diverse decisions in healthy and clinical populations. Further, we use brain stimulation to tackle the changes in learning and decisions. This highly interdisciplinary research requires a systematic combination of neural, (fMRI, EEG, NIRS), physiological (SCR, HR, Eye movements) and metabolic data (i.e. hormones).


Requirements and Skills

The advertised position is available for 2 years up until 31.12.2021. The level of salary will be determined on the basis of standard/tariff conditions, present qualifications and professional experience.
