Department Molecular Epidemiology

The position is/positions are available as soon as possible.


Within the frame of the European project Fatty Acid Metabolism - Interlinking Diet with Cardiometabolic Health" fatty acid and lipidomics profiles will be evaluated as novel biomarkers of fat intake and fatty acid metabolism. Aims are to identify novel biomarkers of cardiometabolic health, to establish relationships between food intake with tissue status of fatty acids, and to investigate genetic determinants of fatty acid status and metabolism which modify the physiological effects of dietary intake.


The advertised position is available initially for three years. The PhD position will be paid according to the terms of the civil service collective bargaining act (TV-L 50 % of level E13).
